Opus Sinuatum™ mosaics are hand made & hand decorated ceramic mosaics for pool & fountain waterline tile systems engineered for both fresh & salt water pools. Additionally, these hand glazed ceramic mosaics are suitable for bath, spa, kitchen  & other applications.  BORDERS ARE DESIGNED IN 3'' TO 24'' TALL INCREMENTS: The repeats range in length from 18 inch to five foot.  Designed for simple installations, they are created with uniform grout gaps of 1/16'' between the ceramic mosaic tiles & the ceramic mosaic panel sheets.  Opus Sinuatum™ mosaics can be installed on x or y radiused, concave or convex surfaces with a diameter greater than 8 inches.  They can be trimmed with a wet masonry saw. Opus Sinuatum is Latin for "curved edge work". PRODUCTION GLAZE PALETTES & CUSTOM COLOR MATCHING: The Mosaic Studios™ creates hand glazed mosaics.  Featuring non-toxic (lead free) glazes  from Mayco, Gare, Amoco & Duncan;  in addition to our own custom glazes, The Mosaic Studios™ also can create custom glazes to closely match architectural specifications, PANTONE® & other color specifying systems.  Glaze palettes are available upon written request.   Approval chips, RGB, PANTONE® or CMYK equivalencies are also available. PRICING: The Mosaic Studios™ ready to install mosaics start at $38.50 per running foot & range upwards to $310.00. The rule of thumb for estimating project costs are $155 per square foot. Prices are USD & subject to change. Freight charges additional, FedEx ground at a reasonable (discounted) rate.
